KrisVen for Claude

Connect KrisVen to Claude so it can read your organization's approved knowledge, save new findings as drafts for review, and seal decisions with fingerprints of the documents they relied on.

Before you start

A KrisVen organization with an active plan.
An administrator has turned on the Claude connector in KrisVen Studio (Settings, Claude connector).
Your own KrisVen account: your organization ID, work email and password.

Connect

Add KrisVen in Claude
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, find KrisVen and select Connect. If it is not listed for you yet, choose Add custom connector and enter https://mcp.krisven.ai/mcp. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http krisven https://mcp.krisven.ai/mcp and then /mcp.
Sign in to KrisVen
A KrisVen page opens. Enter your organization ID, work email and password. The page shows where you will return to, such as claude.ai.
Choose what Claude may do
Pick the organization and approve the tools. A first connection allows reading and verifying; Claude asks again before it saves drafts or seals decisions.

Tools

Read approved knowledge

read-only

Returns knowledge a person in your organization approved, for one case and purpose, with its source. Knowledge tied to another case is never returned.

Save a draft for review

adds a draft

Saves a new finding as a draft. It cannot be read back until someone approves it in KrisVen Studio.

Seal a decision record

adds a record

Records a decision with SHA-256 fingerprints of the documents it relied on, in a signed record. Send fingerprints, not files.

Verify a sealed decision

Checks a sealed record and names exactly what changed if anything was altered. It also states what verification does not prove, such as whether the evidence itself is true.

Your data

Claude acts as you, with your KrisVen permissions, in the organization you chose.
Your documents stay in your systems. Sealing sends fingerprints, short summaries and source references, not files.
KrisVen stores the knowledge your organization loads and approves, drafts saved through the connector, sealed records, and usage counts.
Sign-in uses OAuth. Claude never sees your KrisVen password; connections can be revoked at any time.
The connector does not read your Claude conversations, files or Claude memory. It receives only what Claude sends with each tool call.

For administrators

Turn the connector on or off for the whole organization in KrisVen Studio, Settings, Claude connector.
Choose which of the four tools the connector may use.
Choose where usage is billed: your KrisVen plan, or an AWS Marketplace subscription linked to your organization.
Turning the connector off takes effect within 15 seconds for every connected user.

Troubleshooting

The connection fails at sign-in

Check your organization ID, email and password. Your organization needs an active plan and the connector turned on.

A tool says CONNECTOR_DISABLED or PLAN_INACTIVE

An administrator turned the connector off, or the plan is not active. Ask your KrisVen administrator.

A tool says PERMISSION_DENIED

Your KrisVen role does not include that action. Ask an administrator to adjust your role.

Claude cannot read something I just saved

Drafts need approval first. Approve it in KrisVen Studio, then read again.

How do I disconnect?

Remove KrisVen in Claude's connector settings. Administrators can also turn the connector off for everyone.
